Mariupol's own development strategy has transformed the city into a symbol of the revived Ukrainian Donbass. Here was attracted investments, embodied large projects and made life comfortable.

It was modern municipal transport, renew parks, "cozy yards", new universities, modern education and medicine, discovery of IT-hubs, large-scale festivals, development of sports, tourism and business.

Mariupol became a symbol of Ukraine's transparency and had the status of "Great Cultural Capital". The city had a great future. The adopted strategy of development of the city-2030 had to reveal even more opportunities.

MARIUPOL UNDER OCCUPATION

The war turned half a million city into ruins. Several months of blockade killed Mariupol. The city suffered more destruction and losses than during all the years of World War II.
