Four architectural teams were combined into the single for understanding and analyzing previous developments and further formation of a single reconstruction strategy. Each team was responsible for a separate layer of research and design.
Mariupol is a multicultural city with a rich history and complex heritage. To find its multiple identity and harmoniously show them in the urban space is one of the main tasks of reconstruction. Four architectural teams were combined into the single for understanding and analyzing previous developments and further formation of a single reconstruction strategy. Each team was responsible for a separate layer of research and design. All strategy decisions were made on the results of joint discussions, including with Mariupol's people who are currently living in other cities of Ukraine
