International Forum “Creating tomorrow: Post-War Reconstruction and Recovery of Communities”
On September 18, the International Forum "Creating Tomorrow: Post-War Reconstruction and Recovery of Communities" will be held in Kyiv, which will present a project Community Recovery Academy.
The purpose of the forum is to present Community Recovery Academy and discuss the strategy, plans and resources necessary for effective post-war reconstruction and restoration of communities and territories of Ukraine, involvement of international assistance and coordination between state and non-state structures.
The event will unite representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, local self-government, especially the territories affected by the war. As well as deputies of Ukraine, heads and representatives of international organizations, partners and donors of the school. Representatives of Polish partner cities - Gdansk and Wroclaw, who help Ukraine and individual communities at this difficult time for our country will join.
The forum will present the global project "Community Recovery Academy", founded by the Association of Cities of Ukraine and NGO "Mariupol.Reborn", Which aims to prepare municipal managers of the recovery period.The project is implemented for funding for the UK government under the UK International Development and the International Iri Ukraine International Republican Institute in partnership with Metinvest, SCM. The educational partners of the project - Metinvest Polytechnic, National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy".
After the presentation of the school in the framework of three discussion panels will discuss the most important issues in the post -war territories: "The great national idea of reconstruction: Ukraine begins with communities", "Reconstruction of Ukraine: international experience and partnership", "Human capital - as a basic reconstruction resource: as Ukraine as Ukraine as Ukraine Leave the best and bring people back from abroad. "
