Conservation of memory and perpetuation of the heroes. Mariupol Reborn holds exhibitions dedicated to memorialization
Mariupol Reborn, together with partners, continues to work on the development and implementation of cultural and exhibition projects, which are dedicated to the chronicle of the city's defense and the memorialization of the memory of Mariupol defenders.
So on the platforms of Mariupol Reborn in Lviv and Dnipro there are exhibitions "Azov. Angels of Mariupol" (Lviv, 6 Ferenza Liszta St.) and "3011 NGU: Face of the Unconquered" (Dnipro, Knyagyna Olga St., 11). These projects are intended to honor the memory of the city's defenders and attract the attention of society to their feats.
"Azov. Angels of Mariupol" in Lviv highlights the heroic efforts of the Azov battalion in Mariupol's defense. The exhibition includes more than 250 portraits, personal stories and artifacts that demonstrate the courage and self-sacrifice of these soldiers. The project is aimed at honoring their inheritance and illuminating the importance of their role in maintaining the independence of the city.
In the Dnieper, the exhibition "3011 NGU: The Face of the Unconquered" is dedicated to the defenders of Mariupol from the military unit of 3011 of the National Guard of Ukraine, which showed unbreakable stability during the siege of Mariupol. The exposition contains artistic images, installations and memorable representations that emphasize the dedication of defenders. The project emphasizes their adamant will and unity, acting inspiration to support and memory of those who continue to fight for the freedom of Ukraine.
The initiative for the implementation of these projects arose from families of fallen and prisoners of war, and the team "City of Maria" in collaboration with the Mariupol platform Reborn was able to organize exhibition stories that will be exhibited by January 25, 2025 in Lviv and Dnipro.
