Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko has signed Memorandum of Cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
The city is actively engaging powerful international partners to develop a major plan for the recovery of Mariupol - Mariupol ReBorn. This is the largest initiative in the world to rebuild a destroyed city since the Second World War.
The plan for the revival of Mariupol consists of five stages. The EBRD will cooperate in the development to bring the city back to life quickly and efficiently.
On the instructions of Pavlo Kyrylenko, we have already started developing a large-scale plan for the recovery of Mariupol – “Mariupol ReBorn” - before the de-occupation of Mariupol. This is a new chapter in the modern history of Ukraine and Europe. The city that has become a symbol of a ruthless war will become a symbol of Ukraine's revival. The signing of the memorandum with the EBRD is an important step on this path
