MARIUPOL PLANS TO ADOPT LONDON'S EXPERIENCE IN POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION
Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boichenko stated this during a meeting with Andrew Boff, Leader of the London Assembly and Deputy Mayors of the capital of England. The parties discussed the Mariupol Reborn Plan for the revival of the Ukrainian city after liberation and future cooperation in reconstruction.
Mariupol is interested in London's practical experience in rebuilding the city's industrial areas and port areas with berths. After the Second World War, they were redeveloped into residential areas and offices. We need to use this leading experience of London and its experts to develop proposals for the Mariupol Recovery Plan to revive destroyed industrial areas, such as some areas of the Azovstal plant. The expertise from the capital of England will help to build a strong economic potential of the revived Mariupol
