The first families of Mariupol were inhabited to new social housing in Dnipro
The first families of Mariupol residents received the keys to studio apartments in the 10th floor premises of Dnipro National University named by Oles Honchar. Modern social housing has now been created here. Repairs, rooms are equipped with furniture, modern household areas, children's rooms, coworking, gym - everything for comfortable living people.
In total, 200 families of Mariupols will live in the hostel. Among them are large families, military families, pensioners, people with disabilities. The settlement is in stages. In the first stage, 43 families will be inhabited. Subsequently, more than 150 families will come here.
Thanks to our partners, we are able to implement ambitious Mariupol's support projects. I thank the France's Government, which was a reliable partner in Mirny Mariupol and continues to cooperate with our community today to solve the problem of housing. There is currently repair in five buildings. In total in the Dnieper, more than 450 families of Mariupols will be able to live in social housing
A new transparent model of cooperation was introduced to increase the level of trust by international partners. The businesses of Rinat Akhmetov played a significant role in the arrangement of hostels. Thus, the Akhmetov's Foundation financed the arrangement in hostels of shared zones - kitchens, gaming, coworkings, playgrounds. The power grid has helped restore DTEK and Ukrtelecom provides a high-speed internet.
Before the restoration and for the restoration of Mariupol after his release is a key - to save the Mariupolsk community, to save its energy, its resource. For this purpose, the city council with the support of partners, including the businesses and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, solves the problem of displaced persons from Mariupol - the problem of housing. And in parallel with our support, Mariupol Reborn created a vision and plan of post-war reconstruction of Ukrainian Mariupol, together with Mariupol residents and for Mariupol residents
The plans include expanding the geography of the program in Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhia, Kropyvnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kiev. "IMariupol.
