Mariupol Reborn offers the experience of other affected from war areas
On April 22, the Ministry of Community, Territories and Infrastructure Development, together with the "Economic Truth", held a conference "Reconstruction of Ukraine. Why not be delayed in victory". Representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, local self-government, journalists and businessmen took part in the conference.
In particular, it was said that the country now needs support for the restoration of energy, residential, critically important and social infrastructure, basic services for the most vulnerable sections of the population, demand.

Ukraine's needs for reconstruction and restoration are estimated by the World Bank of approximately $ 485 billion. Accordingly, it is necessary to carefully and strategically set priorities - what is primarily for Ukraine in the long run? Who should be engaged in recovery - state, business or community? Who should make key solutions to rebuild? How to make this process as transparent and understandable as possible?
Mariupol Reborn's project is dealing with these issues. Within it, a city recovery strategy has been developed, which includes a plan for rapid recovery and long-term revival. And as soon as the military of the Armed Forces will released Mariupol, the plan is ready for implementation, because it provides what to do to restore the full life of people in the city.
The name of the event fully corresponds to the challenges of today: actions are needed now, not ever. To build a country resistant to military challenges is the key to our sustainable development. After all, a strong country is strong communities that take care of people and protect their own. This ambitious project requires maximum consolidation at all levels: from government to local self-government
The discussion stated that the moods prevail in society as if it were not a time to rebuild. Because of this, the industry loses funding and feels a lack of specialists, although logistics are critical for the country's functioning. It depends on what the country will be tomorrow. Therefore, Mariupol Reborn gives a solution not only for the Mariupol community, but also offers the experience of other affected areas of war.
