Mariupol Reborn as a successful formula for the future revival of Ukraine was presented in Berlin

On the eve of the Ukrainian Recovery Conference, which will take place on June 11, the forum "All reconstruction is local" was held in Berlin. It was intended to explore how Ukrainian cities were preparing for future restoration.

More than 200 representatives of Ukrainian municipalities, public activists, philanthropists and partner countries took part in the previous conference.

In particular, the discussion has unfolded around the issues of models of regional cooperation, human capital and the management of reconstruction projects. As one of the best examples of a successful model that responds to these challenges, Mariupol Reborn project was presented. Deputy Mayor of Mariupol Serhiy Orlov told why it is important to focus the attention of the Ukrainian and international community on the following fundamental projects:

In such panels and in such communication we have the opportunity to share our requests, the ability to talk projects, the ability to find partners, using the experience we already have. To the European audience we have to bring the opinion that despite the war, the unprovable aggression of the russian federation, Ukraine lives, develops, has communities, powerful branches of government: central, regional and local levels, which can be good partners. Ukraine has a private business, which is also adapting to these conditions, is looking for an opportunity for the development and support of Ukraine. Mariupol Reborn is a prime example that combines all these components. Thanks to the collaboration of Mariupol City Council and Metinvest and SCM companies, we have the opportunity, instruction in order to make good projects and good inniatives that are supported directly by our residents

It should be emphasized that this year in Berlin will be held an international Ukraine Recovery Conference. This is a continuation of the annual series of high-level political events on rapid restoration and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale war. It is also the first conference for the restoration of Ukraine to be held in the EU Member Country.
