EXPANDING HORIZONS: MARIUPOL REBORN HAS BEEN PRESENTED IN MUNICH
On October 4, presentation of the city's recovery program was held in Germany as part of the Platform Mariupol Reborn.
At one of the largest events in Germany, dedicated to the development of the real estate market and attracting investments, Deputy Mayor of Mariupol Serhiy Orlov presented a plan for the revival of the city after deoccupation. He talked about the humanitarian component of the work of the team of Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko and presented Mariupol Reborn - the main program of the city's post-war revival.
We are currently looking for potential partners both for existing projects to support the people of Mariupol and for revival projects after the liberation of the city. Among them is the construction of a modern clinic with a campus, a transport hub and an airport
Separately, the deputy mayor of Mariupol discussed with the deputy mayor of Utrecht (Netherlands) Elko Ehrenberg the use of best practices and the latest technologies during reconstruction. Mr. Ehrenberg confirmed the help of Utrecht in the development of the economic model of Mariupol.
The Mariupol City Council has united international partners, representatives of European cities and large Ukrainian businesses to jointly plan the revival of the city after its liberation from the Russian occupiers.
At the real estate Expo Real organized by Holland Metropole, participants also discussed creating social value and increasing profits by investing in urban development and the municipalities' approach to creating comfortable living conditions in industrial areas. In particular, such developments are taken into account in the 4 architectural concepts of Mariupol Reborn.
The Mariupol Reborn project is implemented by the Mariupol City Council with the investment support of Rinat Akhmetov's SCM and international donors.
